Based on what I have read, Terence and Dennis were the ones who brought psilocybe cubensis (formerly stropharia cubensis) cultivation to the world. Terence has mentioned in his talks and books that he and Dennis brought spore prints from their famous expedition to the Amazon back to the United States. In the states, they experimented with cultivation. In this book, they relay their findings and tell what they knew to be the best way of growing psilocybin-containing mushrooms.
New methods have superseded the one described in this book, making the Magic Mushroom Grower’s Guide largely obsolete. Even so, this book is a historical artifact and warrants preservation, as it is responsible for millions of magical experiences across the world.
There are two editions with, from what I am aware, marked differences that are available online. The book was first published in 1976, and the second edition was published in 1983.
