Creation and Temptation

By Dietrich Bonhoeffer

This book was first written in German by the martyred theologian, Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Typically, one associates Christian martyrdom with the Roman Empire, but Dietrich Bonhoeffer was much more recent than that. He was unfortunately killed at the end of the Holocaust, just two weeks before his camp was liberated by the Allies. He was imprisoned and executed for his alleged involvement in the 20 July plot to assassinate Hitler. Dietrich Bonhoeffer is the subject of a great many books, movies, and plays.

Creation and Temptation is a combined edition of Bonhoeffer’s Creation and Fall and Temptation. It has been a while since I read it, but in my studies of Genesis 1-4, I have found Creation and Temptation to be extraordinarily helpful. If anyone is interested in the subject of the Garden of Eden, I highly recommend this book.

Someone has kindly scanned and uploaded a copy of Creation and Temptation to Z-Library and Libgen. It is also available on Amazon.
